The 2008 edition of the Japan Open brought together many familiar faces at Nasu Highlands, as well as plenty of new participants.

Disc golf's best known players, Avery Jenkins, Manabu Kajiyama, Nate Doss, Ken Climo, David Feldberg, Valarie Jenkins, Jussi Meresmaa, Des Reading, and others, were all there to earn the coveted Japan Open title.
